EHS has extensive sports facilities across its 14 acre site from which girls in Prep and Senior School can all benefit. The School considers sport a major component of the learning experience at EHS and girls are encouraged to develop their interest through competition, extra curricular participation and House activity.

The School refurbished its swimming pool in Summer 2008, opened a new All-Weather Surface – for hockey, netball and tennis – in September 2007, maintains a state of the art gymnasium and has playing fields providing a running track, rounders pitches and a cricket square.

Girls in Prep benefit from their own spacious playground which doubles as netball courts and have an opportunity to compete alongside Senior girls at gymnastics and tennis competitions.

The School is in the early stages of planning the redevelopment of its Pavilion at the playing field.
